The Active Lifestyle Challenge is for anyone who wants to become healthier while tracking their physical activities, improving their fitness, and eating and living better.


No matter what your goal is—losing weight or building muscle mass, playing more and destressing—the Active Lifestyle Challenge can help you achieve it.






Be Active. Have fun.

The CSI Employee Wellbeing Spring Active Lifestyle Challenge promotes physical activity, good nutrition, and emotional wellbeing -- because it takes mind, body and spirit to lead a healthy lifestyle. Sign up for the six-week program to help you maintain or improve your health and wellbeing. Our challenge begins Monday, March 5 and ends two weeks after Spring Break on Friday, April 13th.


A healthy life is an active life. Youth (6-17 years old) need to be active at least 60 minutes a day (or 11,000 steps for girls and 13,000 steps for boys). Adults (18 and older), 30 minutes (or 8,500 steps). So, take a walk with friends, bike ride after dinner, garden, or play a game of basketball at the park. Get your heart pumping and your muscles moving. When you've logged six weeks of physical activity, congratulations. You've started a regular routine for a more active lifestyle.


Start eating healthy. It's easier than you think! Take it one step at a time. Commit to achieving our spring healthy goals each week. Focus on your healthy eating and remember, the more often you incorporate good nutrition and hydration into your lifestyle, the better you will feel.


Work and life balance are key to emotional health. Take time for family, friends, art and leisure. Turn off computers and cell phones and get outside to garden, play with pets, bike or play sports. Get a good night's sleep, volunteer, laugh well and often, and wash your hands at least five times a day. All these activities will earn points in this challenge.
